First and foremost, Prague is really a beautiful place to visit. The city is just about the right size to walk from one attraction to the other. Everything is situated more or less centrally.

For me personally, I really really REALLY love the food in Prague. It's really good AND cheap! My favourite would have to be those seemingly omnipresent Christmas bazaar that sells all sorts of sandwiches, pancakes, mulled wines and other titbits. Really lovely i'd have to say. I'm sure to have put on a few pounds!

The transport system is also rather good. It's frequent enough and reasonably cheap especially if you get a 3 day travel pass. The tram, tube and bus serves every district in Prague and you'd be hard pressed to look for a place that hasn't got any transportation connections.

The outskirts of the city where I was living is in the Zizkov district. It's typically suburban with lots of graffiti on the wall. Nonetheless, I didn't really feel threatened or in imminent danger. The locals were friendly enough and there also seem to be many tiny police stations tucked into lil corners.

Now, photography!... A lovely lovely place to shoot! Lots of variety and interesting subjects. I'm off to another holiday now and don't have the time to scan it in yet. Gimme another week or so ya? My only regret is not having a VR lens or a tripod. I really hope those low light pictures aren't too buggered up. *fingers crossed*..5 Comments Previous Journal Entries
